We did it, Wildcats!
Since we’re getting close to the end of the year, I’d like to congratulate each and every one of you on being strong and getting through these unprecedented times. I also wish you good luck on your finals. It’s time to buckle up and focus on studying.
Reminder
Complete the National Assessment of Collegiate Campus Climates (NACCC): this is a survey about college racial climate that only takes 15 minutes to complete, and incredibly important. Check your student emails for the link that President Limbaugh has sent to students.
Events happening this week
Health Center Info Sessions: every Tuesday, from 11 AM to 12 PM, the Health Center holds a zoom meeting where students can join to get information on the virtual and mental health resources provided by West LA College. You can even book an appointment with a nurse practitioner in the session. Click here for the Zoom link and additional information.
Tips for Good Oral Hygiene: Wednesday, December 9th at 4:30 PM. This is a partnership between our Associated Student Government (ASO) and the WLAC’s Dental Hygiene Program. This is an important event to learn more about our oral health, which we might neglect in our daily lives and not see the consequences some time later. Check out the link in the ASO page.
Mind Matters Meditation Sessions: Every Friday, from 6 PM to 7 PM. Sponsored by ASO, this is a phenomenal opportunity for all Wildcats who have had their mental health and wellbeing affected by this year. Join these sessions to destress and receive support. Click here to register.
Cools things to know about
